Joshua Hong, DMD
Endodontist
Dr. Joshua Hong is passionate about helping patients save their natural teeth and feel at ease through every step of their endodontic care. He is known for his calm, gentle demeanor and his ability to make even the most anxious patients feel comfortable in the chair.
Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Hong earned his dental degree from Temple University before completing an AEGD residency with NYU Langone in beautiful Honolulu. He fell in love with the island’s culture — and its people — while honing his skills in advanced dentistry. His journey then took him to Boston, where he completed his specialty training in endodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He’s proud to bring that experience back to Central Florida, where he now calls home.
Dr. Hong is fluent in Korean and values making genuine connections with his patients, no matter what their background. He believes that education and empathy go hand-in-hand when it comes to exceptional care.
When he’s not at the office, you’ll find him exploring local food spots, planning his next travel adventure or staying active outdoors.
Sara Shah, DMD
Board-Certified Periodontist
Dr. Sara Shah brings a unique blend of surgical precision, academic excellence and genuine heart to her work in periodontics and implant dentistry. With a calm, encouraging presence, she helps patients restore not just their smiles — but their confidence and comfort along the way.
Dr. Shah completed her specialty training in periodontology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she also earned a Master of Medical Sciences degree. Her path in dentistry has taken her from the University of Pennsylvania to Harvard to the VA Medical Center in Gainesville — and eventually back to Central Florida, where she now calls home.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology and has extensive experience in implant surgery, gum disease treatment and advanced regenerative procedures. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Shah is deeply committed to education and mentorship. She has lectured across the country and continues to serve as a clinical attending for dental students. She also helps lead community organizations that support and elevate women in dentistry.
Outside of work, Dr. Shah finds joy in travel, cooking and spending time with her loved ones. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment for every patient she meets — and believes that excellent care starts with listening.
